  FAST MOVING DREAM   (AVAILABLE NOW)
by: LINQ
At a time when many look forward to  retirement, Linq is kicking it up and  cranking it out, defying stereotypes.  This disc is a fresh, uncompromising,  decidedly unstodgy and lush with life  experience. Produced by June Millington, this is an eclectic folk and rock  rebellion celebration which will appeal  to Woodstock originals and their kids!  Songs about war victims, health care,  homophobia, longing for love and a  tribute to a friend who died too young  are performed by Linq with help from  Julie Wolf, Jami Sieber, Allison Miller, Ruth Davies and June Millington.

" A bolus of reality, hope being the only side effect. A mature, polished work that leaves behind neocon and neoprogressive illusion. It has moments as raw as Neil Young, moments ars tenderly clear as Emmylou, rocks at time like Patty Smith. Stories told are authentic. Many are hopeful. The voice is new though not young. It is open, clear and easily understood. Sung in prose, this woman's words tell stories seldom told so clearly in the brief moment allowed to a modern songwriter. The supporting musicians have deep roots and experience, but, Linq still finds her place in the front. Her lack of mimicry, strongly possessed voice and clear presentation puts each song on the table before us. The song either lives or dies on its own merit. I point you to the song "Tired." If you do not get it, they you are ill equipped to live in the future before us. Listen to its lyrics in hand. The entire disc is consistent in its depth and sensitivity. It is current yet smacks hard of a Charles Dickens sharp pen drawing blood from a society gone daft. Just listen and try to ignore. "
