" This cd was the first time I ever heard their music.I was in dance class and on Fridays we had music listenings. It's where we lay there and listen to the song the first time, and then on the second time for the whole entire song we write what we are feeling,or anything else that we wanted to write about, and the song we were listening to was "Wanting Memories". That song brougt tears to everyone's eyes. It's such a baeutiful song. Our dance teacher made it a tradition to play "Wanting Memories" on the first Friday of all her dance classes! "

" This is the CD that first introduced me to Sweet Honey. I have since purchased several copies for friends. Each track on the CD is so
expressive of our world as it is; of the need for us to take action in our world and challenge the outdated and out moded norms that society has put upon us as women; white or black or asian or hispanic or whatever! Thank you Sweey Honey! "

" My first explosion of wonderment due to their SOUL was when I saw them at the Michigan Womyn's Festival in the '80s.Thank you for being there! This album got me through intense times, saved my sanity-tears and singing are blessed. Now I saw them in concert last night, which renewed my sense of dignity of being a woman, proud of my good sense to see them again-and mostly, to share the gift of REAL with my significant other who needed REAL so very much. Please, keep on, please! I love you all

" The first time I ever heard this song was in a movie called "Civil Brand". I remember the children's book, but I never knew that there was a song to it. But this song really grabbed my attention. I think it was the acappella harmony that grabbed my attention, as well as it's lyrics. I'm glad I heard this song, because I'm going to buy the CD! :-) "
