Big Mouth Girl – Gathering on The Land, is a specifically female gathering for womyn and girls. We are privately organized, thus the password protected site, but otherwise fairly open. Most of the organizing and attendee community input will happen via our Facebook group. We get it, if you are not on or into Facebook, but it has been an excellent tool for our networking purposes and will be the best resource to stay current on what we are planning. If you want to get all of the info via email, please email [email protected] and we’ll put you on the list.
BMG COVID-19 POLICY:
We are taking safety regarding Covid-19 very seriously. After careful consideration we have decided that in addition to whatever CDC, state and WWTLC requires at the time of our event, BMG will require all attendees and performers to be fully vaccinated, we have implemented the following measures to promote the health and wellbeing of attendees and staff:
- New policies and procedures:
All attendees (including performers) will be required to show proof that they are fully vaccinated, or to show proof of medical exemption. Those who are unvaccinated will be required to show proof of negative PCR test results from within 3 days in addition to taking a rapid test every 2 days while on The Land. Please respect these requirements and do not bullsh*t us. If you do not want to be vaccinated, we ask that you simply opt out of attending. If you have a medical reason for not being vaccinated we ask that you comply with the requests for testing. We just want to do what we can to minimize risk.
- How these were determined:
We, as a community, have lost many friends and loved ones to Covid-19. A good number of us are living with increased vulnerability due to medical conditions or we are otherwise immunocompromised. Vaccination is demonstrably the best way to minimize the risk that anyone arrives with Covid-19 or that it spreads among us or results in severe cases and hospitalization if someone does.
- What’s expected of attendees:
Please show up fully vaccinated and prepared to show proof.
Wear a mask whenever you are in community space.
Please wear your mask in the portable toilets.
Wash your hands!
Be mindful that many of us have comorbidities that make us more vulnerable.
As the situation evolves, so will our approach to keeping us all as safe as possible. We thank you for your patience and flexibility as we manage this and ask that you check back here for updates.
