Sweet Honey: Live at Carnegie Hall



As the title says, this album was recorded at a live performance at Carnegie Hall in New Tork City in 1987. The album garnered the group their first Grammy nomination for the song about apartheid, “Emergency.” Other highlights
include “Beatitudes,” “Are My Hands Clean” (often referred to as “the shirt song”), “Denko” and “Letter to Dr. Martin Luther King.”
