Wonderful album made in Ani DiFranco’s home studio in New Orleans with Terrence Higgins on drums and Todd Sickafoose on bass. Ani sings haunting backups on one track and plays resonator guitar on another. Leaning strongly on the Americana side of things, this album has a ballad to those fallen in the Pulse nightclub shooting and a song for the refugees around the world; a song for rain and a love song for a bearded girl.
